The Word of God cannot be health to either our soul or body before it is heard, received and attended to. It says below, that the Word of God is life only to those that "find" them. If you and I want to receive life and healing from God, then we need to take time to find the words of Scripture that promise these results. Proverbs 4:20-22 gives you and I clear instructions as to how to receive healing for our bodies. Attend to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. When God's Word becomes health to all our flesh, then cancer will be gone, tumors will be gone, goiters will be gone, and overall sickness will be gone. I have experienced this personally, when I received and acted upon God's Word. I had an underactive thyroid condition for 15 years and was on medication once a day. When I read in the Word of God that healing for my body was available to me, I desired to be off this medication and position myself to receive healing. Over a period of one year, each time I took my medication, I would say what the Word of God says in Isaiah 53:5, "By His stripes I am healed." I would say, "If God said I am healed, then I am going to believe Him and not my feelings." By saying and repeating what He says and acting accordingly, believing it, nothing can keep the power in the Word from making all things to become exactly as the Word says. I have been off thyroid pills for over 20 years now and have gone back to the Doctors for tests and he said my thyroid is functioning normally. Note: (Please use wisdom in this area - do not just quit taking your medication, take it while you are building your faith in reading and believing and receiving what God's Word says). Once you believe in your heart that healing is for you, then you can test it and then go to your Doctor's to confirm it.
God's Word Works, If We Work It!
When our eyes are upon our symptoms and our minds are occupied with them more than with God's Word, we have the wrong kind of seed in the ground for the harvest that we desire. We have seeds of doubt. We are trying to raise one kind of crop from another kind of seed. It is impossible to sow tares and reap wheat. Our symptoms may point us to death, but God's Word points us to life, and we cannot look in these opposite directions at the same time. Seeing only what God says will produce and increase your faith, and this will make it easier to believe than to doubt.
Luke 1:37 - "For with God nothing will be impossible!"
Don't doubt your faith; doubt your doubts, for they are unreliable!
